Those who die in Christ are truly more alive and healthier than they have ever been. When we walk by faith and walk in Christ, we walk in the reality that our loved ones who have died are actually very much alive in Christ, and that we are still together with them since Christ lives in us. This doesn't mean that we don't weep or that it is wrong to grieve! Even Jesus wept when Lazarus died, knowing that He would raise him up from the dead. The emotions are natural and it is good to experience them. However, we should not live in torment or misery. Jesus has provided the Comforter for us so that we can move forward after the loss of a loved one. Through Jesus we can have victory over grief because we fully put our trust in the Word of God.
