Polarized thinking, overgeneralization, personalization, catastrophizing, mind reading (jumping to conclusions), emotional reasoning, labeling, filtering, control fallacies, blaming, always being right, fallacy of change, fallacy of fairness, heaven's reward fallacy. And there are more unhelpful thinking styles such as all-or-nothing thinking, magnification and minimization (magnifying the negative, minimizing the positive), comparison etc.

Dr. Ashery holds a PhD and MSW in social work and an MA in Education and Human Resources. She proudly served her country as a commissioned officer in the United States Public Health Service for 30 years holding a variety of leadership and management positions. Dr. Ashery is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Maryland and in the District of Columbia and has a Diplomate in Clinical Social Work (DCSW). has a PhD in social work and has a Senior Executive Service (SES) Certificate in the federal government. She holds a coaching certificate in Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance from Rutgers University and a coaching certificate in Strategic Intervention Coaching from the Tony Robbins-Cloe Madanes Training Center. She is a licensed social worker and an ACC certified member of the International Coach Federation.
