Marina and Kai dive to investigate the mysterious underwater structures she glimpsed on sonar. What they discover defies explanation—ancient ruins that pulse with their own light and emit haunting music that compels Marina despite her scientific skepticism. When their submersible's life support systems fail due to acoustic interference from the structures, Kai guides them to an underwater cave system for emergency repairs. His uncanny knowledge of these hidden depths and his evasive answers about his background deepen Marina's suspicions that there's far more to Kai Nereon than he's revealed.
