The Sealed Book, “The Accusing Corpse,” originally broadcast on the Mutual Broadcasting System on April 29, 1945. This is episode 7 of the 30-minute mystery anthology, hosted by Philip Clarke.

At wealthy stockbroker Philip Drake’s country home, his wife Vivian is preparing to leave after only three months of marriage. When Drake calls on Roger to intervene, a bitter domestic confrontation leads into a chilling mystery of private motives, conflicting evidence, and a corpse that refuses to remain easily explained. Written by Robert A. Arthur and David Kogan, the story reworks their earlier The Mysterious Traveler script.

Old Time Horror Radio presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
