A slick New York publicist thinks he's landed the account of a lifetime when a polite stranger claiming to be a Martian offers him a million dollars to sell the public on one idea: "The Martians Are Coming." What starts as a playful suspense campaign of teaser ads and a spectacular Martian-themed parade quickly turns into something far more chilling. This sly and satirical early episode from May 1955 adapts George Lefferts' clever tale of invasion through advertising.
