Story Transcript:

He: במרחק של שגרירת מכסה מהמיטה, אברהם התעורר. הוא מהר להביט לשעונו, אך אין לו שעון. הוא היה צריך להסתכל החוצה, דרך החלון, על החוף הרחוק של תל אביב. החיילים החוליים והסורפים הבוהמים בשילוב של קרני השמש המאריחות של הקיץ, עשו לו לנשום את נשימת הבוקר הראשונה שלו.
En: At a distance of a blanket's throw from the bed, Abraham woke up. He quickly looked at his watch, but he didn't have one. He needed to look outside, through the window, at the distant shore of Tel Aviv. The sick soldiers and surfers, in combination with the summer sun's rays, made him breathe his first morning breath.

He: לא הספיק אברהם לשוט את רגליו מחוץ למזרון וכבר שמע זיזוק מהפת. הדלת מהרמים העליים של בנין הרבה-קומות הגבוה שבו הוא התגורר - נעלה בידו. אברהם ניסה נוסף, ארבעה ניסיונות נוספים, לא נעלתה. המצב היה חמור יותר מאשר חשב. הוא ננעל בפיג'מה, תחתונים צהובים עם שלווה בעיניים פזמוניות מדובבנות ובלי מסיח.
En: Abraham didn't have time to get his legs out of bed before he heard a buzzing from the door. The door, from the upper levels of the tall building where he lived, opened by itself. Abraham tried again, four more attempts, but it didn't open. The situation was worse than he thought. He was locked in pajamas, yellow underwear with sleepy eyes and no distractions.

Abraham explained the embarrassing and ancient domestic situation, presenting an arousing determination.

He: החיפוש אחר מנעולן בדף הצהוב התחיל. מעין משחק הכיסאות של תל אביב, רק במקום כיסאות – אנשי מקצוע. אחרי דקות מטרדות של חיפוש, הם מצאו מנעולן מומלץ - שמוביל בשם עמוס. בעל ניסיון של למעלה מ- 30 שנה. כנראה, אם מישהו יכול להפתיר את משבצת החידה, זה יהיה עמוס.
En: The search for a locksmith in the Yellow Pages began. A kind of Tel Aviv musical chairs, but instead of chairs - professionals. After minutes of frustrating search, they found a recommended locksmith named Amos. With over 30 years of experience, if anyone could solve the puzzle piece, it would be Amos.

En: For two hours, Abraham sat in the coffee shop, enjoying a very smooth espresso and green olives in the Tel Aviv heat. Finally, Amos arrived and opened the stubborn door. It was a quick turnaround, if only we all could open tough cases in our lives like Amos opened this door.

En: When Abraham entered his apartment, he not only saw his home but also returned to the beginning of his life track. An important lesson we learn from it is, it's important not to take things for granted, especially not our keys. Abraham took out the heating pad and put his yellow pajamas into the box of dubbed yellow underwear. For some unknown reason, he felt an urge to carry himself with a cold drink while pondering the puzzle pieces of his life. He smiled with a similar humor to Abraham's. In the end, each of our stories is a story of triumph in finding the way back home, no matter what obstacles are on the way. But if you think about it again, this story is just a story about a man who lacked a locksmith... right?
