Her apartment manager, lab supervisor at Hyde Park Laboratories, and coworkers all confirm her story. Even the Jersey City coroner's records verify that Teresa Corbett's mother died days before, leaving no next of kin. As the evidence mounts supporting Doris's confession, Johnny remains troubled by the nagging feeling that something doesn't add up in this peculiar case of a woman who came back from the dead.
