Story Transcript:

Ja: 冴えないグレーの空の下、ハルトは渋谷の雑踏を見つめていた。今日の任務は、アオイという名の特定の人物を探し出し、彼女から密告者の名前を引き出すことだった。
En: Under the dull gray sky, Haruto gazed at the hustle and bustle of Shibuya. His mission today was to locate a specific individual named Aoi and extract the name of the informant from her.

Ja: 「これを見ると、どこかの海に行きたくなるな〜」ハルトはコーヒーを飲みながら、手にしたポラロイド写真を見つめた。写真にはアオイが笑顔で波打ち際に立っている姿が写っていた。
En: "When I look at this, it makes me want to go to the sea somewhere," Haruto said as he drank his coffee and looked at the Polaroid photo in his hand. The photo captured Aoi standing by the shore with a smile.

Ja: とにかく、彼は人波に身を投じた。首元に淡い蓝色のスカーフを巻いた女性を見つけると、彼はその女性へと近づいた。「アオイさんですか？」と、尋ねる。しかし、その女性は彼を見て困惑するばかり。違った。間違えた。彼は次へと進む。
En: Anyway, he plunged into the crowd. When he spotted a woman wearing a light blue scarf around her neck, he approached her. "Are you Aoi?" he asked. However, the woman only looked confused when she saw him. Wrong person. He had made a mistake. He moved on to the next.

Ja: 人ごみの中、ハルトは何度も何度も間違ったアオイと出会った。違う顔、違う名前、けれど全て淡い蓝色のスカーフを巻いていた。しかし、ハルトは諦めずに、どんどん次に進んだ。それはまるで、渋谷の交差点を埋め尽くすビルの風景みたいに。
En: In the sea of people, Haruto encountered the wrong Aoi many times. Different faces, different names, but all wearing a light blue scarf. Nevertheless, Haruto didn't give up and continued forward, much like the view of buildings crowding Shibuya's intersection.

Ja: 遂に彼は、ショーウィンドウに映った一人の女性に目を留めた。その女性が巻いていたのは淡い蓝色のスカーフ。同じく、その女性の名前もアオイだった。しかし、彼女の目はあのポラロイド写真のアオイとは少し違った。でも彼は知った。海辺で笑っていた、あの純真な笑顔とは違う、違う何かを。
En: Finally, his eyes caught a woman reflected in a shop window. She was wearing the light blue scarf. Her name was also Aoi. However, her eyes were slightly different from the Aoi in that Polaroid photo. But he understood. Different from the innocent smile by the seaside, different in some way.

Ja: ハルトは彼女の近くに寄って言った。「海辺で笑っているあなたを探しています、アオイさん。」彼女が驚いた顔で振り返ると、彼女の顔には今隠したはずの純真な笑顔がこぼれていた。それは、まるでポラロイド写真に写るような純真な笑顔だった。
En: Approaching her, Haruto said, "I'm looking for the you who was laughing by the seaside, Aoi." As she turned around with a surprised expression, the pure smile that he had hidden shone on her face. It was a pure smile, just like in the Polaroid photo.

Ja: それは彼が探していたアオイだった。ハルトは彼女にこっそり笑みを送りながら、とうとう任務を終えて、この広大な交差点から去っていった。ちょっと疲れただけかもしれないけど、ハルトの心は満たされていた。今日は彼にとって、长い一日だった。
En: She was the Aoi he had been searching for. Haruto discreetly sent her a smile before finally completing his mission and leaving this vast intersection. Maybe he was a bit tired, but Haruto's heart was full. Today had been a long day for him.
