David has been invested in bitcoin since 2012; is a general partner at Off The Chain and UTXO Management; and is an active venture investor in Kraken, BitPay, Coinbase and Protocol Labs (the creator of Filecoin), to name a few. David also founded one of the first hedge funds in the space, 402 Digital, in 2015.
In 2013, he founded BTC Inc and guides its operations as CEO today. BTC Inc is the parent company of Bitcoin Magazine, the first and longest-running source of Bitcoin news in the space. David bought the publication from Mihai Alisie and Vitalik Buterin, whom you may know as the founder of Ethereum.
