Edmund Burke stated, "All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. "
In a world of inaction I want to suggest that being a good man and a hero are synonymous. In our present age both these attributs are vital for a resurgence of goodness.
We see a recession of morals and this facilitates a decline in the overall morale of society. It is difficult to imagine "better" when worse is constantly berating our senses. The question is, "Will you don the cape of hero and good man ?"
Can we come to the aid of our individual plight and the oppression of those around us? In order to do so we must defeat the arch nemesis of inaction. Yes, inaction is the worst enemy of all.
Knowing to step up with backbone but ignoring the calling to do so is not a characteristic of man or hero. Every situation invites "better" to prevail over the evils of inaction.
