Night guard Marcus Webb is told never to listen to channel four — but the dead channel finds him anyway, with a calm woman's voice calling floors that don't exist. Then she calls his name. A story about a sealed mezzanine, an elevator operator who never stopped her rounds, the gray door with no handle, and the last run that finally let her rest... and the new voice that picked up the microphone three nights later.

Inspired by r/TrueScaryStories. A transformative retelling; all names and places changed.
