Over the short time frame I’ve been in this world, I’ve had my share of injuries and the surgeries that come with them in order to repair what was damaged. When I was in going through the ranks while in the service, the ol’ cliche of “run it out” when you had an injury was a common saying to yourself or anyone for that matter. Unfortunately, that doesn’t help in the long run. As I’ve got more seasoned, I’ve learned to throttle back on the gas pedal and listen to my body.
