Tantrums are often expressions of emotional distress from your child, that is and are usually triggered by frustration, loss, feeling misunderstood, disappointment, or a need to release an accumulation of stress. Of course, some tantrums are really about pushing boundaries, perhaps to get the junk or toy that isn’t allowed and these ‘tantrums are fairly easily diverted or will escalate overtime if they are ignored.
