WBAP via FOX News Radio recently asked Joanne Moretti to come on the air 🎙 in Dallas, TX to discuss the current state of the supply chain and how companies are managing risk in the face of disruption. Joanne is the Chief Revenue Officer for Fictiv, a digital supply chain and digital manufacturing company.

Joanne explained that companies have been preparing for disruption for years, and that technology and systems are in place to help manage risk. She also discussed the use of 3D printing to bring manufacturing back home and the lack of labor that has been a major factor in the slow progress of bringing manufacturing back.

Additionally, Joanne discussed the love-hate relationship between the US and China when it comes to the supply chain, and how 85% of companies surveyed are looking to move things back. She also touched on how advanced manufacturing plants are becoming more efficient with fewer people, and the need for education and programs in computer science and engineering for Americans.

Finally, Joanne highlighted the encouraging policies from the US government to invest in innovation and build semiconductor and chip factories in the US.
