Sr: Sunce se polako spuštalo na beogradsku tvrđavu Kalemegdan, bojeći nebo u nijansama ružičaste i narandžaste.
En: The sun was slowly setting on the Belgrade Fortress, Kalemegdan, painting the sky in shades of pink and orange.

Sr: Na najlepšem delu trave, pored šarenila cvetnih leja, Milica se smeškala držeći veliki sladoled u kornetu.
En: In the most beautiful part of the grass, amidst a riot of colorful flower beds, Milica smiled as she held a large ice cream cone.

Sr: Njeni najbolji prijatelji, Nikola i Jelena, stajali su pored nje, posmatrajući razigrane paunove čiji su se šareni repovi širili poput lepeza.
En: Her best friends, Nikola and Jelena, stood beside her, watching playful peacocks with their colorful tails spread like fans.

Sr: "Gledajte, kako su lepi! Hoću selfie sa paunom u pozadini!" uzviknu Milica, nameštajući se za fotografiju.

Sr: Peacocks, zbunjeni iznenadnim uzbudjenjem, raštrkali su se u svim pravcima.
En: The startled peacocks scattered in all directions.

Sr: Trka ih je odvela na vidikovac sa kojim se pružao prelep pogled na ušće Save u Dunav.
En: The chase led them to a lookout point with a beautiful view of the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers.

Sr: Sakrila se iza kamene figure, hvatajući dah.
En: Milica hid behind a stone figure, catching her breath.

Sr: Nikola se približio tiho, ali Jelena, koja je sve vreme snimala, dala mu je znak da je Milica tu.

Sr: "Uhvaćena si!" uzviknu Nikola, iskačući ispred Milice.

En: "You trickster!" Milica shrieked and laughed even harder.

Sr: "Dobro, dobro, ima da ti kupim nove patike."
En: "Alright, alright, I'll buy you new shoes."

Sr: S troje se prijatelja skupilo, oslonjeni na kamenu ogradu vidikovca.
En: The three friends gathered, leaning on the stone railing of the lookout point.

Sr: Jelena je pokazivala snimak njihove potere, i svi su se smejali do suza gledajući kako se Nikola sapliće o grane, a Milica vrišti od smeha.
En: Jelena showed them the footage of their pursuit, and they all laughed until tears rolled down their faces, watching Nikola stumble over branches and Milica burst into laughter.

Sr: "Ovo je bio jedan od najduhovitijih dana," reče Jelena dok su posmatrali zalazak sunca.
En: "This has been one of the funniest days," said Jelena as they watched the sunset.
