When we focus on the negative, we forget the promises God has made to us. A bad way of thinking that makes us believe we will fail; that bad things will happen to us; or that we are not a very good person is stinky thinking. But Paul tells us in Philippians 4:8 NLT, "And now, dear brothers ans sisters, one thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and amirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise," continues.
