Story Transcript:

Ja: 東京、街のトビラが開くほどの春の季節。
En: Tokyo, the season of spring when the city's doors open.

Ja: この活気に満ちた風に喧騒が舞い巻き上がる中、2人の少女、はるかとさくらが出会うことになる。
En: Amidst the bustling and lively atmosphere, two girls, Haruka and Sakura, are about to meet.

Ja: さくらは、古くから続く日本の豊かな文化を胸に抱く少女。
En: Sakura is a girl who carries the rich cultural heritage of Japan in her heart.

Ja: 茶道を通じて日本らしさを学び、自身の美しい着物を誇らしげに泳ぐ。
En: Through the art of tea ceremony, she learns the essence of Japanese culture and proudly wears her own beautiful kimono.

Ja: 一方、はるかは元気でモダンな少女、伝統に対する理解は乏しいが、友人のさくらに刺激を受けて興味を引かれている。
En: On the other hand, Haruka is an energetic and modern girl who lacks understanding of tradition, but she is drawn to Sakura's influence and curiosity is sparked within her.

Ja: ある日、さくらの家で、はるかがさくらの特別な着物を見つけてしまった。
En: One day, at Sakura's house, Haruka stumbles upon Sakura's special kimono.

Ja: それはあまりにも美しく、はるかはつい魅せられてそれを身につけてしまった。
En: It is so breathtakingly beautiful that Haruka can't help but be captivated and decides to wear it.

Ja: しかしこの着物こそ、さくらがこれから受ける茶道の行事で着るつもりだったもの。
En: However, this kimono was meant for Sakura to wear for an upcoming tea ceremony.

Ja: さくらがそれを見つけた時、彼女の顔色は一変した。
En: When Sakura discovers this, her expression changes drastically.

Ja: はるかが驚き、すまなさそうに繕おうとしたが、さくらは言葉を失っていた。
En: Haruka is surprised and tries to apologize and make amends, but Sakura is at a loss for words.

En: Her treasured kimono was not meant to be seen like this.

Ja: しかし、はるかは反省していた。
En: However, Haruka deeply regrets her actions.

Ja: さくらへの罪悪感と、自身の行動をきちんと理解するために、はるかは一瞬で発想を変えた。
En: To understand her own behavior and to alleviate the guilt towards Sakura, she quickly changes her mindset.

Ja: 彼女は、さくらに自分も茶道の儀式に参加して、着物を正式に着る礼儀を学びたいと頼んだ。
En: She asks Sakura if she can participate in the tea ceremony as well and learn the proper etiquette of wearing the kimono.

Ja: 一瞬、さくらは驚きの表情を見せたが、やがてそれはどこか満足気なものへと変わった。
En: For a moment, Sakura expresses a surprised expression, but it soon turns into a satisfied one.

Ja: はるかと一緒に茶道の儀式を経験し、共有することは彼女にとって新鮮な経験だった。
En: Experiencing and sharing the tea ceremony with Haruka was a fresh experience for her.

Ja: そして、さくらははるかを茶道の行事に誘った。
En: And so, Sakura invites Haruka to the tea ceremony.
