Curently, Dr. Yates’ research focuses on the pre-clinical and clinical pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of botanicals and dietary supplements. His particular areas of interest include the use of artificial intelligence as well as pre-clinical screening models to identify unique phytochemical combinations that impact chronic inflammatory processes including aging, cognitive impairment, and fatty liver disease.
