Israel and Hamas are at war after a Hamas surprise attack left over 1,000 Israelis dead. Over 1,000 Palestinians, mostly civilians, have been killed in rocket attacks.
Darren goes through the history of Palestine/Israel from 1947 forward.
Darren asserted that instead of starting wars, the government "leaders" should have a fist fight among themselves without involving armies and civilians.
Rep. Steve Scales (R-LA) was nominated to become the next Speaker of the House but couldn't find enough votes to seal the deal. We'll have more on this on next week's show.
Rep. George Santos (R-NY) faces new charges and an effort by New York Republicans to have him expelled from Congress.
Budget cuts have led to the layoff of six workers at the Ottawa County, Michigan Department of Public Health.
The Ottawa County Board of Commissioners have submitted paperwork with the State of Michigan to have Nathaniel Kelly approved as interim Health Director if Adeline Hambley is fired.
And the Michigan Court of Appeals ruled that Hambley was hired as Health Director for Ottawa County; but they also ruled that she can be fired for cause if the county follows State rules.
