Riccardo Ricci Curbastro discusses production and styles of Italy's renowned Franciacorta sparkling wine. Riccardo's family dates back 18 generations in what is now the Franciacorta DOCG region. Franciacorta is made in the traditional champenoise method and is known for its longer aging on lees. Fourth generation farmer Tyrrell Myburgh is co-owner and cellarmaster for MAN Family Wines, in South Africa's Agter-Paarl region. The area's star wines include Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinotage.
