It’s 2022 and we are still reeling in films that ended in 2021 🤣
During this episode, we get into a heated discussion about the new Spiderman! We discuss our list of pros and cons, from visuals to plot holes to the impact of the film on the rest of the MCU. We again compare it to several films and marvel’s style of filmmaking, we all agree on one thing, the multiverse is here and it's changing everything not just for the MCU but also future superhero films (ahem flashpoint) 😯
Ah yes, we, unfortunately, have to talk about the unnecessary Matrix sequel that WB forced the Wachowski’s into. Give this a listen if you want to understand the cool concepts but also what brought the film down in many ways than one.
Our Final Film is a Netflix Original from South India, called Minnal Murali, and let’s just say it made it into John’s Top 3 Films of the Year list. With an incredible cast, and a tragic story, Minnal Murali transforms previous Bollywood attempts at the Superhero genre, into something that is relatable and culturally relevant to its Indian audience with timeless visuals that would entice an international audience.
