Howdy Texans! We have a new episode of T for Texas for you! Listen about how Mrs. Ima Williams and her sister traveled with 13 slave children to escape from the Civil War fighting in Arkansas. They make the long trip to Texas to seek refugee. Of course they were starving during their trip. They only had cornbread and molasses! After spotting wild hogs, Mrs. Williams was determined to have some meat! She and her dog cornered the hogs and killed them. The traveling party ate good that night! So tune in to hear this crazy tale!
