Aired: Dec 5th, 1948. A drugstore weighing machine hands Connie Brooks a fortune predicting a tall, dark stranger in her future, and her landlady Mrs. Davis takes it from there with a dubious cup of tea leaves. Before breakfast is even over, Connie's apparently engaged, married, and the mother of three in Mrs. Davis's increasingly elaborate fortune-telling session. It's a classic slice of Our Miss Brooks' deadpan wit, as Connie tries to stay sane while her landlady plans out her entire life from the bottom of a teacup.
