Nadia Nadim joins us as our first guest of season 2 and we couldn’t be luckier to have her. Her story is truly one of resilience and fighting against forces larger than life and winning. After fleeing the Taliban with her mother and sisters, Nadia found football in her new home, Denmark. From there she could never leave the sport and has given everything to it and found tons of success on the world stage.
Nadia is perfect for the Now For Later show because she not only became one of the world’s most recognizable football players, but attained that stardom while still studying medicine and becoming a medical doctor simultaneously. She talks a lot about the grind that it took to get there but also certain advantages that athletes have to take on at the same time.
Through everything her goals have become centered on being able to give back to others and have a world-wide impact for good. She has no lack of confidence that she can change the world. Her spirit and attitude were so energizing and has already inspired everyone here on the Now For Later team to do a little bit more, push a little bit farther, and leave a bigger impact on this earth.
