In Nostalgia, Kavita and Gary look back at how procurement has evolved, from sealed tender boxes and dumb terminals to e-tendering, digital tools and AI.

They reflect on what the profession is better off leaving behind, what is still worth holding on to and whether all this technology has really helped us work smarter.

The conversation also gets into the realities of working in procurement today, from ghosting and the pressure to always be switched on to the importance of stepping away, making space to think and keeping human judgement at the heart of every decision.

Because nostalgia has a way of making the past look better than it was. But looking back can also give us perspective on how far procurement has come, what we have learned along the way and where the profession might be heading next.

A candid, thoughtful conversation about change, technology and the human side of procurement.

This is Procurement Whispers.
