The list goes on forever. So how did the culture we all worshipped — the icons, the movies, the shows we couldn't stop quoting — become the culture we're now told to feel bad about? Did we get it wrong the whole time? Or is that just what culture does — eat its heroes to make room for the next ones? We're going back to dig through the wreckage of our favorite era: to explore it, analyze it, and pick apart what actually happened.
