It is hard not to see the people protesting all over the world, day in and day out, and feel like you are not doing enough. But there are so many different ways to engage in activism that you don't have to feel like you're not doing enough if you are not on your frontlines. Personalize your activism, find ways in your daily life, and in your local community to effect change. Whether it is focusing on buying at Black and Brown owned, local, small business, or contributing to various funds, calling your local government officials, there is something you can do that will be powerful. Make it personal but for the village.  If you need to start Militantly Mixed has a few resources of where to contribute money or buy within the Black and Mixed community.  https://secure.givelively.org/donate/the-bail-project/militantly-mixed-podcast https://teespring.com/mixed-hella-black?pid=46&cid=103391 https://www.bonappetit.com/story/black-owned-restaurant-lists https://webuyblack.com https://www.theteabar901.com/ https://lolabeanyarnco.com There are more but you can feel free to email me or do your own search online.  * * * You can continue the conversation on our private Facebook group after you listen to this episode at http://facebook.com/groups/militantlymixed * * * Produced and Edited by: Sharmane Fury  Music by: David Bogan, the One - https://www.dbtheone.com/ * * * Connect with us on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, http://militantlymixed.com or leave us a voicemail at 323-545-6001 * * * There are two ways that you can sponsor the show, go to Patreon or Paypal
