When we are unwilling to hurt others, or get hurt by others we have made this choice because we have believed to be “good”, but in reality we are just protecting ourselves from feeling really “bad”. Pain is just feedback, it is feedback that we are unwilling to receive and this is why we define it as negative and this is why we get stuck in unfulfilling connections with ourselves and others
