Since the inception of America, citizens in classrooms, courtrooms, and legislative bodies have recited the pledge of allegiance to America every single day. In 1954 President Eisenhower encouraged Congress to add the words "under God," creating the 31-word pledge many recite today. In recent years we have witnessed evangelical christian leaders stand behind Donald Trump and many of his ungodly antics, but today we are joined by Bishop C. Anthony Muse to discuss whether or not America can live up to the true meaning of its creed in being: one nation under God.
