George Gray (born February 12, 1960) is an American retired professional wrestler, better known by his ring name (The) One Man Gang. For three years in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), he was Akeem "The African Dream". Prior to this, he was the top heel for Universal Wrestling Federation (UWF), and UWF Heavyweight Champion for six months in 1986 and 1987.
The One Man Gang has one of the most interesting wrestling careers you are ever going to hear. He got his break in the Poffo owned ICW with Macho Man Randy Savage and his brother lanny and he learned his graft under the name Crusher broomfield.
He wrestled in the W.C.C.W. under the tutelage of the late great wrestling manager master mind Gary Hart who gave his long hair a mohawk and a tattooed head to boot and the great wrestling moniker The One Man Gang because he wrestled at a weight over a incredible 400 pounds as a heel against the likes of the Von Erichs and Brusier Brody.
He tells you about the time he spent in Florida with Dusty Rhodes and then his trips to Japan.
He also wrestled for the Jarrets in Tennesse and was always watched over by Mid Souths Bill Watts, in fact he was the UWF Heavyweight Champion until he decide to except Vince Mcmahons offer to wrestle in the big League , the W.W.F. as a heel to Mega Star Hulk Hogan. He was managed by his friend the doctor of Style Slick and he tell us all about how he found out about his routes from Africa and had to learn how to dance as he became Akeem. We learn all about how he was involved in the infamous Mega Powers angle while he and his tag team partner The Big Boss Man formed the Twin Towers and forced the Mega Powers to explode on N.B.C Saturday Night Main Event.
We learn about his tenure in the WCW and his final run with infamous ECW.
This is a fan who has lived a dream career in every territory and every angle and he tels you all about it. Don't miss this one, he played a heel but he is a babyface for sure
