It's been used to start a story since the 1300s, so this podcast is centuries in the making, as we look at some of the many films telling us what happened "Once Upon a Time" in the West, America, China, Mexico, Anatolia, and Hollywood. Cynics have cynically suggested this is a pretty weak theme to join together a bunch of films we fancied watching, to which I reply "yes". But aren't they all?
