- The captain of our boat is our Shaykh.
- In many boats, water leaks in till it sinks. In others, they capsize in stormy weather. Yet others give up and turn their boats around. Or reach the wrong destinations because of insincere intentions.
- Each boat will face stormy weather and difficulties on this journey. Safe is the one with a sturdy boat, with a captain who calls out to us with constant advice on how to navigate the stormy seas.
- Seek your waliyyan mursyida, hold firm to him and draw closer to your goal day by day - never forget that you are a traveller heading to the most important destination that you were created to reach.
