Story Transcript:

Cy: Roedd noson dywyll a stormus yn cwympo ar dref Conwy.
En: A dark and stormy night was falling on the town of Conwy.

Cy: Dylan, bachgen anturus a dewr, oedd ar daith ysgol i Gastell Conwy, sef un o gestyll mwyaf trawiadol Cymru.
En: Dylan, a brave and adventurous boy, was on a school trip to Conwy Castle, one of Wales's most striking castles.

Cy: Efo'i wallt brown byr a'i lygaid glas disglair, roedd Dylan bob amser yn chwilio am antur.
En: With his short brown hair and bright blue eyes, Dylan was always looking for adventure.

Cy: Wrth i'r haul fachlud a'r awyr troi'n las tywyll, dechreuodd Dylan grwydro o gwmpas y castell.
En: As the little sun set and the sky turned dark blue, Dylan began to wander around the castle.

Cy: Mae muriau cerrig hen y castell yn dal hanesion o amseroedd a fu, ac roedd Dylan yn teimlo'r cyffro yn ei wythiennau.
En: The old stone walls of the castle hold tales from times gone by, and Dylan felt the excitement in his veins.

Cy: Llithrodd heibio i'w athrawon ac i ffwrdd o'r grŵp.
En: He slipped away from his teachers and the group.

Cy: Ei fodrwy oedd y golygfeydd hynafol a'r neuaddau mawrion.
En: His wanderings took him to the ancient courtyards and grand halls.

Cy: Ond wrth i'r noson fynd yn dywyllach, dysgodd Dylan fod y castell ar fin cau.
En: But as the night grew darker, Dylan learned that the castle was about to close.

Cy: Ac yn anffodus, wrth i'r gweithwyr gloi'r drysau caerog, sylweddolodd Dylan ei fod wedi cael ei gloi tu mewn.
En: Unfortunately, as the workers bolted the castle's creaky doors, Dylan realized he had been locked inside.

Cy: Ar ei ben ei hun.
En: All alone.

Cy: Roedd y tywyllwch yn llwyr; dim ond y golau lleuad oedd yn disgleirio trwy'r ffenestri man.
En: The darkness was complete; only the moonlight shone through the narrow windows.

Cy: Wrth i Dylan gamu'n ofalus drwy'r coridorau, dechreuodd y cyrn siwgwr a'r armoriaid ymddangos fel cysgodion byw.
En: As Dylan carefully walked through the corridors, the flickering candlelight and the coats of arms appeared as living shadows.

Cy: Bob tro y byddai melltithiad yn dod o'r tu allan, byddai'r armor yn disgleirio'n sydyn, gan beri i Dylan neidio'n ôl mewn ofn.
En: Each time a flash came from outside, the armor would suddenly gleam, causing Dylan to jump back in fear.

Cy: Ar bob cam, roedd y seiniau o hen gastell yn ei gwneud yn teimlo fel bod ysbrydion y gorffennol yn cerdded wrth ei ochr.
En: At every step, the echoes of the old castle made it feel as if the spirits of the past were walking by his side.

Cy: Y sŵn echod o'i gamu'n unig, a'r udo'n chwibanu trwy'r hen furiau.
En: The sound of his lone footsteps, and the owl hooting through the old walls.

Cy: Cyda'i galon yn curo'n gyflym, cadwodd Dylan yn symud, gan geisio dod o hyd i le diogel nes y gellir ei ryddhau yn y bore.
En: With his heart beating fast, Dylan kept moving, trying to find a safe place until he could be released in the morning.

Cy: Eisteddodd o dan ffenestr fawr, ei benliniau'n dynn ag ofn.
En: He sat under a large window, his thoughts filled with fear.

Cy: Ac yno, yn y tywyllwch ac ymysg hanes Castell Conwy, cafodd Dylan amser i feddwl.
En: And there, in the darkness and among the history of Conwy Castle, Dylan had time to think.

Cy: Roedd yn gwybod bellach nad brawychus oedd y cestyll, ond yn hytrach, dim ond tomenni carreg a dur oedd yno.
En: He now knew the castles were not scary, but rather, only piles of stone and iron.

Cy: Roedd wedi rhoi'r ysbrydion yn ei ben ei hun.
En: He had placed the spirits in his own head.

Cy: Gyda'r wawr newydd yn dod, dechreuodd Dylan deimlo'n gryfach, yn fwy penderfynol.
En: With the new dawn approaching, Dylan began to feel stronger, more determined.

Cy: Wrth i'r golau bore dyner lenwi'r neuaddau ac ystafelloedd, gwelodd Dylan y castell o safbwynt gwahanol.
En: As the soft morning light filled the halls and rooms, Dylan saw the castle from a different perspective.

Cy: Doedd dim arswyd yno bellach, dim ond tawelwch a harddwch.
En: There was no more terror there, only serenity and beauty.

Cy: Dan oriau cyntaf y bore, daeth y gweithwyr yn ôl i agor y castell eto.
En: In the early hours of the morning, the workers returned to open the castle again.

Cy: Cawsant Dylan yno, heb niwed, ond llawn straeon i'w rhannu.
En: They found Dylan there, unharmed, but full of stories to share.

Cy: Roedd wedi treulio'r nos yn yr hen gaer, ac erbyn hyn, roedd yn gwybod hanesion a chyfrinachau nad oedd neb arall yn eu gwybod.
En: He had spent the night in the old fortress, and by now, he knew secrets and stories that no one else knew.

Cy: Gyda diwrnod newydd yn dechrau, roedd Dylan yn fwy parod nag erioed i wynebu ei anturiaethau nesaf.
En: With a new day beginning, Dylan was more ready than ever to face his next adventures.

Cy: Ac yn bwysicach na hynny, roedd wedi dysgu gwers bwysig: Hyd yn oed mewn lleoedd dywyll, mae pŵer ac ysbryd yn dod o fewn.
En: And more importantly, he had learned an important lesson: Even in dark places, power and spirit come from within.
