The 45th News Journal All-Star Classic was held at Lexington High School on Friday, March 29th.  Amarr Davis (Mansfield Christian) of the South team, coached by Mansfield Christian's Cary Craner, took home MVP honors with a big 2nd half, as his team had a huge 2nd half, where they outscored the North, 54-35.

Davis had 17 in the game, while teammate Logan Toms (Lucas) tied a game high 19 points to help lead their team to the win.

The North squad, coached by Shelby's Greg Gallaway, was led by the Whippets Issaiah Ramsey with 19 points. Malachi Bayless of Bucyrus poured in 17, Trevor Vogt from Col. Crawford added 14 and Ontario's Grady Schroeder chipped in 10.
