- Attending Khatam via Zoom is very different from attending in person at the Zawiyah. What a loss for those who choose to skip attending Khatam in person, opting to attend online instead. And the greatest loss is for those who give Khatam a miss, despite the good fortune of having been chosen for this Way.
- Mankind was created to be Allah's Khalifa - representative - on earth. In doing so, Man must always be with Allahﷻ, in order to reflect from His beautiful attributes.
- Because of the 70,000 veils of light and darkness between Man and God, we must first be trained to be with our Sheikh, before we can be with God.
- A mureed must always be spiritually with his guide. Always.
- With his Sheikh beside him, the mureed will always be on his best behaviour and deeds. The consciousness of this presence, is a powerful force that shapes one's personality and trains the ego.
- On the other hand, a mureed, alone, is like a warrior with no armour. Being with one's guide, and being supported by his presence and prayers, are the necessary armour for a mureed to interact in this life with the various situations and people he must encounter - each with its tricks & traps, negative energy, bad vibes, unhealthy influences and deviating whispers.
