Nash Overstreet just dropped a colorful, artsy video for “U Don’t Get 2 Do That,” and it’s premiering exclusively on Billboard.

The Sean Hagwell-directed clip finds Nash -- former singer/guitarist for Hot Chelle Rae and brother of Glee star and singer/songwriter Chord Overstreet -- drenched in black light while girls gracefully dance around him, replacing clothing with beautiful neon body paint. The NSFW visual comes complete with bottle popping, ballet dancers and lyrics like “It’s a little too late to be sitting outside my place/ Trying to say you’re sorry/ You don’t get to do that.”

"I had the idea for having body paint and black light, as well as an all white/fuchsia setup for a long time," Nash tells Billboard of the video's concept. "I had some great brainstorming sessions with Deirdre Barnes (who choreographed and danced in the video) and the director Sean Hagwell over a few glasses of wine and we came up with a really cool visual. To me, the imagery represents the sentiment of the song, without being too on the nose. With the makeup artist and dancers in the room, Sean Hagwell started shooting what we'd mapped out, and along the way, we'd discover new lighting tricks to make the black light actually translate. There was a lot of us all running around half-naked and splattering paint everywhere we could. And yes the champagne was ACTUALLY being drank out of the bottle."

As for the song, Nash tells Billboard, “It's all about the rights you lose and give up once you're no longer in a relationship with someone. Whether that's being able to have your late-night hookups, hang out with the same friends, or even text to say hi. There are a million different ways I relate to this song, and I'm hoping it connects with listeners the same way.”

Nash's four-song debut solo EP, also titled U Don't Get 2 Do That, arrived Friday January 27th as well.
