We continue Indian Cinema Month, this year to coincide with launch of the Bollywood Cinema Club, our first all Indian cinema biweekly podcast, with a Tamil-language film that begs the question: if a man is interested in a woman with amnesia who thinks, talks, and sounds like a child, is he a creep? The Projection Booth's Mike White stops by to help answer that question and more with a look at 1982's Moondram Pirai.

Starring Kamal Hassan as the aforementioned man and Sridevi as the aforementioned woman, it's an interesting take on the romantic drama that pulls no punches and gives the characters exactly what they deserve, and then some. The film was remade the next year with mostly the same actors in Hindi but suffers subtitle issues on Prime Video version; we don't get it either.
