I was out and about the other day when a younger woman came inside in her thirties who was morbidly obese--while wearing a tightly stretched "Monster Energy Drink" T-shirt. I was actually rather startled to be honest. I started asking myself a rational question, "How did we get to this place?" Here are some thoughts on the disconnect between true life energy and the American mindset on health through slick marketing schemes.
