Story Transcript:

Sr: Sunce je već visoko na nebu kada su Milica i Nikola stigli na Centralnu pijacu u Beogradu.
En: The sun was already high in the sky when Milica and Nikola arrived at the Central Market in Belgrade.

Sr: Bio je to užurbani dan, a prodavci su vikali nudeći svoju robu.
En: It was a bustling day, with vendors shouting their offers.

Sr: Mirisi svežeg voća, cvetnih aranžmana i domaćih delikatesa miješali su se u vazduhu, ispunjavajući prostor živahnom atmosferom.
En: The scents of fresh fruit, floral arrangements, and homemade delicacies filled the air, creating a lively atmosphere.

Sr: Milica je bila uzbuđena.
En: Milica was excited.

Sr: Obožavala je šarenilo pijace i kretanje među štandovima kako bi pronašla najbolje ponude.

Sr: Nikola, njen stari prijatelj, bio je tu kao podrška, iako je više voleo da njegov dan protekne opušteno, u tišini kafića.

Sr: Dok su prolazili pored izloga sa suvenirima, Milica je ugledala visokog čoveka sa tamnim naočarima.

Sr: Nosio je šešir nagnut nadole, skrivajući veći deo lica.
En: He wore his hat tilted down, partially hiding his face.

Sr: Milici se učinilo da zna tog čoveka, da ga je negde videla.
En: Milica felt like she knew the man, like she had seen him somewhere before.

Sr: Srce joj je počelo jače kucati.
En: Her heart started to race.

Sr: "Vidi, Nikola! Zar to nije on... onaj glumac... iz filma što smo gledali pre neki dan?" šaputala je Milica, vučeći Nikolu za rukav.
En: "Look, Nikola! Isn't that... that actor... from the movie we watched the other day?" Milica whispered, tugging on Nikola's sleeve.

Sr: Nikola se osvrnuo i nezainteresovano pogledao čoveka.
En: Nikola glanced over and uninterestedly looked at the man.

Sr: "Koji glumac, Milice? Svi ovi ljudi ovde su obični prolaznici."
En: "Which actor, Milica? All these people here are just ordinary passersby."

Sr: Ali Milica nije odustajala.
En: But Milica didn't give up.

Sr: Odlučno je krenula prema čoveku, ostavljajući Nikolu za sobom sa izrazom zabave na licu.
En: She decisively walked towards the man, leaving Nikola behind with an amused expression on his face.

Sr: "Oprostite," reče Milica, prilazeći čoveku.
En: "Excuse me," Milica said, approaching the man.

Sr: "Da li ste vi... pa, vi ste sigurno Jovan Martić, zar ne? Mogu li dobiti vaš autogram?"
En: "Are you... well, you must be Jovan Martić, right? Can I have your autograph?"

Sr: Čovek je skinuo naočare i blago se nasmejao.
En: The man took off his sunglasses and smiled gently.

Sr: "Oprostite, gospođice, ali ja sam samo Jovan. Jovan Petrović, prodavac ovde na pijaci."
En: "I'm sorry, miss, but I'm just Jovan. Jovan Petrović, a vendor here at the market."

Sr: Milica je trenutno pozelenela, osetivši kako joj obrazi gore od srama.
En: Milica turned pale instantly, feeling her cheeks burn with embarrassment.

Sr: Pogledala je prema Nikoli koji se smejao, ali ne rugalački, više sa toplinom u očima.
En: She glanced at Nikola, who was laughing, but not mockingly, more with warmth in his eyes.

Sr: "O, žao mi je, mislila sam da ste..." Milica nije mogla da završi rečenicu.
En: "Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you were..." Milica couldn't finish her sentence.

Sr: "Ne brinite," reče Jovan s osmehom.
En: "Don't worry," Jovan said with a smile.

Sr: "Desi se da me ljudi pomešaju sa nekim drugim." Potom je izvadio papirić i napisao, "Sve najbolje, Jovan." Pružio je autogram Milici.
En: "It happens that people mistake me for someone else." He then took out a piece of paper and wrote, "Best wishes, Jovan." He handed the autograph to Milica.

Sr: Osećajući olakšanje zbog Jovanove ljubaznosti, Milica se zahvalila i sa Nikolom nastavila obilazak pijace, ovog puta sa jednom smešnom pričom više.
En: Feeling relieved by Jovan's kindness, Milica thanked him and continued exploring the market with Nikola, this time with one more funny story to share.

Sr: Dok su zajedno delili smeh, shvatajući da su ovakvi sitni trenuci ono što začinjava svakodnevicu, pijaca je nastavila sa svojim živahnim ritmom, a sunce se polako spuštalo na horizontu, dajući kraj još jednom prelepom danu u srcu Beograda.
