In December 1978, a meticulously planned armed robbery at the Lufthansa cargo terminal at JFK Airport in Queens, New York, yielded roughly 5 million dollars in cash and jewelry - and then nearly every man connected to the score was killed or disappeared within months. Decades later, no one has ever been convicted of the Lufthansa heist, the stolen money has never been recovered, and the full crew list for the morning of December 9, 1978 has never been officially established.

Anyone with information about the 1978 Lufthansa heist is asked to contact the FBI New York field office at 1-212-384-1000.
