Hey there, water lovers! Ready for your dose of H2-woahs and windswept adventures? Let's dive in with a fun forecast for Florida's coastal waters!

Alrighty, so here's the scoop for today near Jupiter Inlet to Ocean Reef and East Cape Sable to Bonita Beach. We're looking at some moderate northerly breezes this morning, switching it up to Easterly later in the day through Monday. Cautionary conditions sneak back in late Monday as the winds shimmy to the south and the pressure gradient tightens - keep those sails in check!

Now, let's talk waves! Seas are hanging around 2 to 3 feet, with a mix of peaks hitting 3-footers at 6 seconds and some 1-footers at 4 seconds. Intracoastal waters will be doing the wave dance with a moderate chop.

Heading into the week, expect the wind to pick up a bit - especially late Monday with gusts to roughly 25mph. So, be prepared for choppy waters in exposed areas and keep an eye out for a sprinkle or two in the morning, and showers with a dash of thunderstorms for your Monday afternoon plans.

Come Tuesday, those Southeast winds are dancing at 15 to 20 knots with gusts kicking up to 25. Waves are looking at 3 to 4 feet, occasionally hitting 5, so it might feel a bit like a rollercoaster out there! And hey, keep those weather apps handy because a chance of showers and thunderstorms lingers around.

As we head towards midweek, winds ease up a bit, but don't let your guard down! Stay weather-wise with a mix of mild rain and possible storms in the mix.

For those chilling around Lake Okeechobee, your winds will be milder at 5 to 15 knots, offering a more tranquil time on the waters. And Biscayne Bay buddies, expect a fun mix of North to Northeast breezes and some Southeast winds later in the day with a slight chance of showers and storms, so keep an eye on the skies!

Remember, safety first - Small craft should exercise caution out on the waters! And if you want to check out more details on the forecast, head over to the link in our show notes.
