I had a really wonderful chat with author & AEDP trauma psychotherapist, Hilary Jacobs Hendel. I love how she integrates the body & mind in her therapeutic approach to help clients heal, while also bringing deep compassion & empathy. During the show she went over a simple, effective tool she uses called The Change Triangle that facilitates clients in getting in touch with defenses that mask deep, unconscious, core emotions that have been the root cause of what has been reeking havoc in their lives. She even showed a sample of using the Change Triangle on me! She also shared how when we fully experience our core emotions, we are then able to resolve them, thereby freeing us to live more connected, fulfilling, joyful lives.
