Pl: W Krakowie mała uliczka wije się jak wąż.
En: In Krakow, a small alley winds like a snake.

Pl: Tu mieszkają nasza bohaterka Katarzyna i jej brat Wojciech.
En: Our hero Katarzyna and her brother Wojciech live here.

Pl: Są tu od wczoraj, bo chcieli spróbować pierogów z restauracji, o której tak wiele słyszeli.
En: They have been here since yesterday because they wanted to try pierogi from a restaurant they had heard so much about.

Pl: Katarzyna to dziewczyna z zamiłowaniem do historii, a Wojciech to chłopiec, który uwielbia jedzenie.
En: Katarzyna is a girl with a passion for history, and Wojciech is a boy who loves food.

Pl: Właśnie mieli idąć na kolację, gdy zorientowali się, że nie wiedzą, gdzie jest ta restauracja.
En: They were about to go to dinner when they realized they didn't know where the restaurant was.

Pl: Byli przekonani, że oboje pamiętają drogę, ale uliczki były jak ułożony do góry nogami labirynt, pełen krętych zakątków.
En: They were convinced that they both remembered the way, but the streets were like a upside-down maze, full of winding corners.

Pl: Nie mieli wyboru - musieli przemierzyć te ulice.
En: They had no choice - they had to traverse these streets.

Pl: Wędrowali na lewo, potem na prawo, potem znowu na lewo.
En: They wandered left, then right, then left again.

Pl: Ale zamiast restauracji, trafiali tylko na kolejne wąskie uliczki.
En: But instead of finding the restaurant, they only came across more narrow alleyways.

Pl: Wojciech chciał, aby wrócić i poprosić kogoś o pomoc, ale Katarzyna była pewna, że jeśli tylko trochę poszukają, znajdą to miejsce.
En: Wojciech wanted to go back and ask for help, but Katarzyna was sure that if they just looked a little, they would find the place.

Pl: W pewnym momencie oboje stali u stóp olbrzymiej wieży.
En: At one point, they both stood at the foot of a giant tower.

Pl: Katarzyna wiedziała, że to Baszta Pasamoników, z której można zobaczyć cały Kraków.
En: Katarzyna knew it was the Tower of the Pasamoniks, from which you could see the whole of Krakow.

Pl: W nocy, z jej szczytu, widoki musiały być niesamowite.
En: At night, the views from its top must be amazing.

Pl: Katarzyna podstawiła rękę do kieszeni i wyjęła małą latarkę.
En: Katarzyna reached into her pocket and pulled out a small flashlight.

Pl: Weszli do wieży i zaczęli wspinać się po schodach, docierając w końcu do samego szczytu.
En: They entered the tower and began to climb the stairs, eventually reaching the very top.

Pl: Z latarką w ręku szukali restauracji, przypatrując się tłumom na ulicach.
En: With the flashlight in hand, they searched for the restaurant, watching the crowds on the streets.

Pl: I nagle Wojciech ją zobaczył!
En: And suddenly, Wojciech saw it!

Pl: Tam na dole, tuż za rogiem, stała restauracja.
En: Down there, just around the corner, stood the restaurant.

Pl: Była taka, jaką opisywali: mała, urocza, z drewnianymi stołami na zewnątrz.
En: It was just as they described: small, charming, with wooden tables outside.

Pl: Zbiegli z wieży, pędząc w kierunku restauracji.
En: They rushed down from the tower towards the restaurant.

Pl: Kiedy tam dotarli, zobaczyli, że jest pełna.
En: When they arrived there, they saw that it was full.

Pl: Ale Wojciech, z charakterystycznym uśmiechem, podeszedł do właściciela i poprosił o stolik.
En: But Wojciech, with his characteristic smile, approached the owner and asked for a table.

Pl: Oboje siadły, zamówiły pierogi i zrozumiały, że cała ta przygoda sprawiła, że kolacja smakuje jeszcze lepiej.
En: They both sat down, ordered pierogi, and realized that the whole adventure made the dinner taste even better.

Pl: Ta historia kończy się wtedy, kiedy Katarzyna i Wojciech, siedząc w tej słynnej restauracji, jedzą swoje pierogi i śmieją się z całego zdarzenia, zdając sobie sprawę, że najlepsze przygody zaczynają się wtedy, kiedy się ich najmniej spodziewasz.
En: The story ends when Katarzyna and Wojciech, sitting in that famous restaurant, eating their pierogi and laughing about the whole incident, realizing that the best adventures start when you least expect them.
