When her father was arrested for murder, preppy private-school graduate Laurel Woods was thrust into running his multi-million-dollar strip club empire. Suddenly tasked with managing mobbed-up staff who stole $200,000, keeping crooked employees happy so they would testify at her dad's murder trial, and navigating backstage dancer drama, Laurel learned business the hard way—long before earning a formal MBA. From straight-laced accountants and deep family denial to the actual hitman crashing her book signing, this episode dives into the absurd, wild reality of inheriting a family business where cash was king and crime was relative.
