Da: Lars og Sofie var i Tivoli.
En: Lars and Sofie were in Tivoli.

Da: Der var så meget at se og gøre.
En: There was so much to see and do.

Da: Lars spiste en isvaffel og nød den.
En: Lars ate an ice cream cone and enjoyed it.

Da: Pludselig gled isvaffelen af hans vaffel og landede på Sofies hoved.
En: Suddenly the ice cream cone slipped off his waffle and landed on Sofie's head.

Da: Sofie blev sur og ville ikke tale til Lars.
En: Sofie got mad and didn't want to talk to Lars.

Da: Men så begyndte de at lege.
En: But then they started playing.

Da: De kastede isen frem og tilbage og viste hinanden sjove ansigter.
En: They threw the ice cream back and forth and made funny faces at each other.
