Story Transcript:

Sr: Bio jednom jedan topao prolećni petak i grupa prijatelja odlučila je da proslavi početak vikenda u omiljenoj kafani "Stara pesma" u centru grada.
En: Once upon a warm spring Friday, a group of friends decided to celebrate the start of the weekend at their favorite tavern, "Old Song," in the city center.

Sr: Nikola, Milica i Ana bili su najbolji prijatelji još od srednje škole.
En: Nikola, Milica, and Ana had been best friends since high school.

Sr: Kafana je bila puna, dim cigareta pravio je maglu iznad glava gostiju, a miris pečenja širio se prostorijom.
En: The tavern was full, cigarette smoke creating a haze above the guests' heads, and the smell of roasted meat filling the room.

Sr: Smeh i razgovori su se preplitali sa zvucima starih hitova koje je svirao orkestar u uglu.
En: Laughter and conversations intertwined with the sounds of old hits played by the orchestra in the corner.

Sr: "Ovo je savršena noć za nešto ludo!
En: "This is the perfect night for something wild!"

Sr: " uzviknula je Ana, dok je pijuckala svoj sok od višnje.
En: exclaimed Ana, as she sipped on her cherry juice.

Sr: Nikola je slegnuo ramenima.
En: Nikola shrugged.

Sr: "Šta ima na umu?
En: "What's on your mind?"

Sr: ""Takmičimo se u karaoke!
En: "Let's compete in karaoke!"

Sr: " predložila je Milica, veselo tapšajući po stolu.
En: suggested Milica, cheerfully tapping the table.

Sr: Nikola i Ana su se pogledali i nasmejali, znajući da niko od njih troje ne ume dobro da peva.
En: Nikola and Ana looked at each other and laughed, knowing that none of the three of them could sing well.

Sr: Uskoro su se našli na improvizovanoj bini, mikrofoni u rukama, srca puna uzbuđenja.
En: Soon, they found themselves on the makeshift stage, microphones in hand, hearts full of excitement.

Sr: Prvi je pevao Nikola.
En: Nikola sang first.

Sr: Izabrao je pesmu "Oči crne, oči lažne", ali umesto aplauza, sala se ispunila prijateljskim smehom.
En: He chose the song "Black Eyes, Deceptive Eyes," but instead of applause, the room filled with friendly laughter.

Sr: Ostali gosti su počeli da se hvataju za mikrofone, stvarajući spontano karaoke takmičenje na kojem je talent bilo manje važan od dobre volje.
En: Other guests began grabbing the microphones, creating a spontaneous karaoke competition where talent was less important than goodwill.

Sr: Smejao se cela kafana, pevali su zajedno, ruku pod ruku, slavili jednostavnu radost zajedničkog druženja i veselja.
En: The entire tavern laughed, sang together, arm in arm, celebrating the simple joy of being together and having fun.
