The Palace Theatre has been a major force in Westmoreland County’s cultural scene for generations. Opened September 2, 1926, as the Manos Theatre, The Palace Theatre today hosts the widest variety of live entertainment in the area in a beautifully renovated 1369-seat facility, located across from the county courthouse at 21 West Otterman Street in downtown Greensburg, PA.

The Palace Theatre is home to the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra and a regional venue for River City Brass. Productions are mounted on a regular basis by local arts groups including Stage Right and Laurel Ballet. Concert promoters bring popular nationally-renowned entertainers to The Palace such as Buddy Guy, Lewis Black, Steve Hackett, The Oak Ridge Boys, Vince Gill, Bill Engvall, Amy Grant, Blue Oyster Cult, Jeff Beck, Tedeshi Trucks Band and Keb Mo. Westmoreland Cultural Trust, owner and developer of The Palace since 1990, sponsors national touring shows like STOMP, Blue Man Group, Riverdance and Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance, and celebrity headliners like Craig Ferguson, America, Cyndi Lauper, Three Dog Night, Travis Tritt, Charlie Daniels Band and Jungle Jack Hanna.
