Matt breaks down the weird case of property taxes in his subdivision and in Indiana jump exactly $41,000. Just a coincidence, right? Ron Paul sits down with Tucker Carlson and it's a must listen podcast. House dissatisifaction with Speaker Johnson explodes over Foreign Aid insanity and the Supreme Court is skeptical of Biden administration in January 6th case with implications for Trump.
that's the truth Matt, no democrats are republicans, but some republicans are democrats

You know, I’m trying to get support for a bill to give volunteer firefighters a $1000 break on property tax. Not one politician that I have reached out to has returned any of my emails.

Tim, what really needs to happen is; politicians need to not be able to play the stock market. Kickbacks should be made illegal. Term limits need to be a thing.

Tim, it gets disheartening, fighting against this crap. Unfortunately, Texas isn’t as conservative as we would like to believe.

The exemption was just a feel good bill. I’m hearing grumblings that those in the Texas Capital are trying to do away with elected municipal governments and want to have their own approved boards. They are also wanting the larger cities to swallow up small cities like mine. The so called exemption was actually part of the reason we had to raise our property tax. If we didn’t, our city would go bankrupt and the State would take over.

We got an increase on our homestead exemption however, the Comptroller’s Office has instructed the County Appraisal Districts across the state to increase the home appraisals. It’s insane.
