INTERVIEW: Lions defensive coordinator Kelvin Sheppard hears the questions about Detroit’s defense. He explained why he has an “all-time high” confidence in the secondary.
Sheppard is one of two people on Dan Campbell’s staff who have been with him every day he’s been a head coach. We talked about their relationship, life as a dad in the NFL, and being a rarity in football: a coach active on social media.
He sat down and talked with Brad Galli in the final days of training camp about the expectations facing his defense, and the Lions as a whole.
