2018.6.2

The Living Full Out Show with Nancy Solari wants to support you in escaping abusive relationships. Perhaps there was a time where you felt incapable of leaving a toxic partner, friend, or family member. By breaking the silence about your circumstances, you can find the means necessary to return to a healthy environment and feel at ease again.

Listen in to our first caller Mary, who recently retired and wants to spend her time doing something she enjoys and remaining involved in her community. Nancy advises Mary to join different groups in her area to engage in exciting activities and meet new people. Mary can ask others how they spend their free time and apply that to her own life.

Our second caller is Hayley, who is a teacher’s aide and wants to know how she can better handle her anxiety when work becomes too overwhelming. Nancy tells Hayley to find a quick method of bringing herself comfort. Hayley can do a physical action or listen to a song that will ground her in the moment. She can find ways to switch her energy once work is over to leave her anxiety behind.

Our inspirational guest is Paula Rumbolt, who is a survivor of domestic violence. Paula’s faith in God and the support from her pastor and mother empowered Paula to speak out about her situation. The need to keep her children safe allowed her to find the courage to seek assistance. By remaining strong and managing to escape, Paula was able to start a new and healthy life.

Our last caller is Daniela, who is having difficulty managing her social anxiety. Nancy instructs Daniela to think of her personality traits as unique and original. Daniela can seek advice from her friends and family as to how she can become the person she wants to be. Instead of changing herself to please everyone, Daniela can find people who love her for who she is.

Maybe there was a time where you felt trapped in an abusive relationship. By reaching out to others for support, you can find the courage to cut ties with people who cause you pain. You can rebuild your life and live full out.
